TITLE: European Project Manager

Objective: Implement the European projects developed by Creative District (Participatory Design – Creative Industries – Sustainable development)

The Project Manager is involved in the field of Social Innovation – Creative Industries – Sustainable Development to manage and organise the activities necessary for the realisation of a project. Reporting to the coordinator, he/she is the interface between the different collaborators, partners and audiences involved in the implementation.

Roles and tasks :

  • Prepares content and leads animation modules, awareness-raising, conferences…
  • Conducts research and development for content writing
  • Analyses and synthesises resources on themes related to active and civic participation
  • Organises working groups on these themes
  • Manages events, organises logistics/technical aspects of events
  • Manages the projects on the ground
  • Manages the network in Brussels (responds to e-mail and telephone requests) Represents the project at conferences, colloquia, or other activities…)
  • Designs the activities adapted to the different audiences
  • Contacts and follows up with associative and institutional partners
  • Manages the budgets: compliance with the budgetary framework, calls for tenders
  • Attends virtual or in person meetings or conferences and reports on the outcomes.

Profile :

  • Good command of French and English, both spoken and written is mandatory.
  • Strong interest in the themes covered by Creative District
  • Ability to adapt to different audiences and be able to unite and motivate them around the different projects
  • Strong writing skills and IT literate: MS Office
  • Good knowledge of communication
  • Analyses the needs and objectives of individuals and groups
  • Knowing how to define the means to carry out a project, identifying the resources required
  • Ability to take initiatives and set priorities
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Creativity and proactivity
  • Ability to organise

DIPLOMAS: Student or graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: A first experience is an asset

COMMENTS: Internship offer, from 6 to 12 months
